lux noctis - night light  2018

Jacqui Ward is a Tasmanian based emerging artist who graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Tasmania, 2017. While majoring in photography she created sculptural forms that became the subject of her images and spoke of the ambiguity of growth and disease. She is interested in exposing the deeper connections that navigate our internal and external worlds through the connections of science and art.  Experimenting with salt and water, string, detritus and barcodes to create sculptural forms, sound installations, film and photographic pieces to express her search for the rhythms of being.
